"What would the future look like if everyone could show their visions?" In this Art as Information exhibit we invite viewers to participate in shaping our collective destiny. Through an interactive video installation, viewers are encouraged to contribute their own visual data by scanning a QR code. Inspired by Buckminster Fuller's geodesic dome, which was envisioned as a deployable habitat for humanity, this exhibit aims to democratize envisioning the future by gathering visual data from individuals of different ages, backgrounds, and cultures.
By making humanity's future accessible to everyone, Space to the People challenges the status quo and seeks to create a more inclusive, just, and sustainable future. This cross-disciplinary platform for creating visions of space settlements travels from place to place, accumulating visuals that capture people's ideas for humanity's future. Join us in reflecting on our presence on Earth and envisioning a better future for us all.
Assembling the geodesic dome
We create engaging participatory workshops, bringing together professionals, students, and community members to tackle pressing environmental challenges through design thinking. For Earth Day 2024, we launched "The Analog Space Ark," an invitation to collectively define a vision for future cities, both in outer space and on this planet.
A guided walk from Green Public Space to Green Public space to physically experience the impact of the presence or absence of green infrastructure in the city. We will learn about closed ecosystem's studies in Space Station design and discuss how, why, where, when, green and blue infrastructure integration can be one of the answers to urban resiliency and climate equity.
