Aurelie Barbier CO-FOUNDER

 

Aurelie Barbier is an Urban Planner with over 15 years of professional experience in urban planning, GIS analysis, and mapping.  Aurelie led large-scale master plans for The World Bank and the French Development Agency (AFD) in European and Global South cities and local urban studies in New York City.

Patricia Semmler CO-FOUNDER

Patricia Semmler is an architect focusing on sustainability. Her interest in outer space architecture was ingnited at a workshop with Roscosmos in collaboration with the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. She then designed a deep space station for her Master thesis, to merge technology and human needs-based design in a biological c

Patricia Semmler is an architect focusing on sustainability. Her interest in outer space architecture was ingnited at a workshop with Roscosmos in collaboration with the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. She then designed a deep space station for her Master thesis, to merge technology and human needs-based design in a biological closed loop system.

Patricia is the founder of PEM studio, a sustainable architecture practice based in Brooklyn and is a professor at City University of New York Citytech.  

She graduated from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Cambridge, USA and ETH Lausanne in Switzerland.

Dr. NATALIA ESCOBAR CASTRILLON BOARD MEMBER

 Dr. Natalia Escobar Castrillón is a licensed architect and a professor of Architecture and  Spatial Justice at Carleton University. In her work, she establishes reciprocal relationships with marginalized  communities to address questions of spatial justice and urban equity.  

She holds a PhD in History and  Theory of Architecture and a ma

She holds a PhD in History and  Theory of Architecture and a master’s in design from Harvard University,  as well as a master’s in architecture from the University of Seville. 

LISA SOLOVIEVA BOARD MEMBER

 Lisa Solovieva is a Swiss artist working and  living in Valais. She has been exhibited internationally including the prestigious drawing prize Trinity Buoy Drawing Prize in United Kingdom. Her artistic practice mainly revolves around drawing. Her  themes include folklore and myth, as a way to map our  collective subconscious. 

She is curr

MARIA ZERVOS BOARD MEMBER

 Maria Zervos is a visual artist and poet who works at the intersection of video, performance, drawing and poetry. 

She is the director of more than 30 video projects and her work has been presented in solo and group shows internationally.

Zervos examines cross-cultural identities and gender issues through the remapping of personal geographies.
